Computer Settings for Desire2Learn

For D2L courses, the recommended browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or greater. In addition, there are optimum settings and browser plugins that will help you to get the most out of your experience with D2L. Use the links below to make your computer ready for D2L.

Plug-ins

Some D2L courses at may include multimedia and interactive content.  To view these portions of the content, you will need one or more of the plug-ins below.  In most cases Internet Explorer will automatically download any plug-ins required by a particular page.  To test your browser plug-ins now, click one of the test buttons below.
